How much money backs a true fiscal conservative? McCain has been against pork barrel spending forever, voting against earmarks constantly. He is the front runner with the least amount of money. His success still relies mainly on moderate republicans and independents.
Its also strange to note that Romney, the other republican front runner is popular but still has no broad based funding support and is reaching deep into his pockets to finance his campaign.
Republicans who want a candidate this time are not willing to pay for it. OR are they funding the democratic campaigns?
