Come Tuesday, it is going to be a dog fight. There are 22 states at play. California is the big one. Some will win the popular vote. Some will win the delegate count. Some may win more states than the other. They will spin everything every which way suits them both.
But what is truly remarkable is that that less than a year ago very few people knew who Obama was and the other had been the first lady. It was presumed for better part of last year that Hillary will be the nominee. There was wide spread predictions that Obama will never be able to raise the money that Hillary can. He did. Some predicted he does not have the organization that Clinton had with the entire party machine behind her. He did. They thought he will not last the entire duration. It is super Tuesday and everyone is saying this is going to go on till April 20th.
Obama does not have very much of a record. I don't know why this bothers people. There was no president that accomplished anything that they said they will on their campaign trail except possibly Reagan to a very limited extent. By golly, Democrats voted for him! He had the reputation for the laziest of the presidents in recent times.
Obama has the political skills necessary to be a wonderful leader. If his quick rise among the ranks to this level is not an indication of how much he will succeed in getting the country behind him, what is?
when people say "What has he achieved?" They are failing to see what is before their very own eyes. Shed your cynicism. Then you can truly believe in the power of magic.
